The project was created in cooperation with Ad Azulay. We began with a fact that caught our attention, that the root of the word Haifa is H F A, the meaning of which in Hebrew is to Cover or to Obstruct from View.

 

From there we began to create a design language which gives expression to the physical location from which the students of Wizo hail, the city of Haifa, the home city in which the Academy sits. By breaking apart and reconstructing of objects and their shapes in various ways, we created a process in which the viewer is required to look twice in order to discern the shapes, each time revealing a different story.
